Durgotsava: Feast of Happiness & Love

Durgotsava is an annuary hindu festival that beat the drum in the worship of hindu goddess Durga all over the India with different liturgy and gaiety. Durga puja anamnesis the power of female Shakti symbolized by the Goddess Durga who assassinate asura to reestablish peace and sanctity on earth again. Durga arrives on earth with four different powers essential for the existence of a state namely, intellectuals, courage, wealth and physical strength. The Durga also emblematize the accumulated power of Gods, their idealism, appurtenances, weapons and ornaments.
The pujas are held over a ten-day aeon during September/October every year. Hundreds of puja Pandals inspired by particular and exclusive themes are set up all over the world especially in Kolkata. Clay images of Durga are made and are brilliantly decorated and worshipped. People all over the world during these days of Durgotsava blow off steam and glorify to their heart's appeased reconnecting with friends and relatives. Singing, dancing, sweets & gaiety are an indispensable part of the Durga Pooja Festival. The festival ends with the holy offering to the goddess Durga on the tenth day of the new moon.
